ABOUT US!
It is my pleasure and honor to introduce the Del
Tufo Schintzius Cancer Foundation. The foundation was formed in memory of Joseph
C. Del Tufo.
The DS Cancer
Foundation was formed with one intention, to help others by providing funding in the form of
grants to cancer patients and their families whom are having trouble paying for their medical treatment. All donations received
for DSCF
are tax deductible, sustain the foundation, and provide aid to those in need.
It has been estimated that approximately 1.4 million more cancer cases were reported in 2007. More than a third of those ended in death. DSCF hopes to provide financial assistant
to those in need to ensure that inability to pay does not prevent treatment options.
Over the upcoming months, there will be various activities planned in an effort to initially raise money for the foundation. It is hoped that DSCF will be fully operational by the fall of 2008. Please sign up for our email list to receive activity updates in the coming months.
